Mining & Construction
Less diesel for every tonne moved
Haul trucks and excavators burn the most diesel on site. DeCarb makes every litre move more material, and we prove it in litres per tonne.
The challenge
Where the fuel goes, and the margin with it
Fuel is the biggest cost most mining & construction operations can still control. Here is what we hear from teams like yours.
Haulage burns most of the diesel
Dumpers and excavators on long haul cycles account for the bulk of a mine's fuel bill.
Litres per hour hides the real cost
Gradients, payloads and queue times vary. Fuel per tonne moved is the number that matters.
Emissions are now on the annual report
Mining companies report CO₂ to boards, regulators and investors every year.
No room for downtime
Anything new has to work with the fleet you run today, without stopping production.

How we measure
Measured on your machines. Not in a brochure.
Same dumpers, same haul roads. We take litres per tonne and per operating hour from your dispatch and fuel logs, run the trial period, and mine management signs off the result.
Units we reportL/tonne moved · L/operating hour
Baseline
We read your own fuel and output records and set the starting point with your team.
Controlled trial
The same equipment runs on DeCarb under normal duty, logged the same way.
Signed result
You get a before-and-after report in L/tonne, ready for management and ESG reporting.

Equipment covered
Works with the equipment you run today
No new engines, no new burners, no capital project. DeCarb goes into the fuel you already buy.
- Dumpers and haul trucks (35 t to 100 t)
- Hydraulic excavators and shovels
- Wheel loaders
- Dozers and graders
- Drill rigs
- Water tankers and service trucks
- Site DG sets
- Crushers and screening plant engines
How do you prove the saving at a mine?
With your own dispatch and fuel records. We compare litres per tonne and per operating hour for the same dumpers on the same haul roads, and mine management signs the result.
Can you report the CO₂ reduction?
Yes. Litres saved convert directly into tonnes of CO₂. At a government mine, a one-year study recorded 669 tonnes of CO₂ cut.
Does it work with bulk diesel storage?
Yes. Diesel Plus can be dosed into your site storage tank before a delivery, so every machine refuels with conditioned diesel.
