01
The challenge
A cement company runs a captive limestone mine in Telangana, where dumpers loaded by an excavator haul limestone every shift. Diesel is a major running cost for that haul fleet, and mine management wanted a measured answer: could a fuel conditioner cut it without changing the machines or the haul roads?
02
The method
Mine management ran a diesel consumption study on two dumpers and one excavator. Diesel use was recorded per tonne moved and per operating hour, first without the additive and then with DeCarb Diesel Plus, tested under its earlier name, Diesel Plus Gold.
Same dumpers, same excavator, same haul roads.
03
The results
Diesel per tonne moved fell from 0.16 to 0.13 litres, recorded in the study as an 18.18% reduction. Diesel per operating hour fell by 16.66%. The study was signed by the mines management.
Bars start at zero, so a difference is never drawn larger than it is.
