Power Generation
More kWh from every litre
DG sets and captive power plants run on tight margins. Lower your fuel per kWh without touching the engine.
The challenge
Where the fuel goes, and the margin with it
Fuel is the biggest cost most power generation operations can still control. Here is what we hear from teams like yours.
Diesel power costs more every year
Captive and backup power is often your most expensive kWh, and the gap is widening.
Sets rarely run at their best load
Part-load running and frequent starts push fuel per kWh up.
Tighter emission norms for DG sets
Smoke and emissions from gensets face growing scrutiny on site and from regulators.
Hard to see where the fuel goes
Without meter and fuel logs read together, nobody knows the true L/kWh.

How we measure
Measured on your machines. Not in a brochure.
We read the energy meter and the fuel log together, set a baseline in litres per kWh at comparable loads, then run the trial on the same sets.
Units we reportL/kWh · kWh/L · run hours
Baseline
We read your own fuel and output records and set the starting point with your team.
Controlled trial
The same equipment runs on DeCarb under normal duty, logged the same way.
Signed result
You get a before-and-after report in L/kWh, ready for management and ESG reporting.

Your operation could be the first case study
We have not yet published a power generation case study. Run a measured trial with us and the result is yours, in your own units.

Works with the equipment you run today
No new engines, no new burners, no capital project. DeCarb goes into the fuel you already buy.

How do you measure DG set savings?
We read the energy meter and fuel log together and compare litres per kWh at comparable loads, before and during the trial.
Do I need to change my generator?
No. Diesel Plus is added to the diesel in the day tank. The engine, controller and maintenance schedule stay the same.
Does it suit standby sets that run rarely?
Most savings come from sets with regular run hours. For standby sets we start with the units that run the most and measure there first.
